    We are currently searching for a Direct Hire for an Apartment Leasing Manager at a large garden style apartment community in Memphis, TN! Our client is a searching for an ideal candidate that will be responsible for overseeing the leasing process, including managing the leasing team, ensure the fulfillment of leasing goals and maintain the overall leasing performance of the property. Compensation is $18-21/hr + bonuses.

    Key Requirements & Duties:
    Monitor daily & weekly leasing results, including forecasting occupancy & implementing retention programs
    Provide training and mentorship to the leasing team
    Oversee leasing efforts and monitor leasing team's activities & effectiveness
    Inform leasing team and management staff of any new leasing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with best practices across the team
    Conduct regular property checks to ensure all leasing activities meet the owner's expectations and standards.
    Coordinate, implement and follow up on resident retention, renewals, and referral programs. Monitor and report results to management to evaluate program effectiveness.
    Assist in monitoring leasing consultants adherence to company policies, including managing 60-day vacancies, 95% overdue rent issues, and other performance benchmarks as directed by management.
    Collaborate with property manager with marketing campaigns & strategies.
    Participate in the recruitment of leasing consultants, provide mentorship, and offer on-the-job training to new leasing staff.
    Attend industry related functions, networking events, and meetings to stay informed about leasing trends and market insights.
    Lead the renewal program for residents and proactively address vacancy issues to maintain high occupancy rates.
    Ensure that all leasing documentation, including applications and resident records, are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards
    Ensure all traffic from prospective residents are accurately documented in ResMan and that weekly and monthly reports are correct.

    Qualifications:
    Proven experience as a Leasing Manager, Assistant Manager or similar role within the multifamily housing industry.
    Strong knowledge of leasing policies, property management software (e.G., ResMan), and occupancy forecasting. Resman experience is preferred.
    Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
    Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    Experience with training and mentoring leasing consultants.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
    Experience in developing and strategizing marketing campaigns, including social media campaigns
